BAROLO D.O.C.G.

BUSSIA

The Bussia, for us, is absolute elegance in a glass, with velvety tannins. Such a delicate Barolo, that since its first vintage it has been bottled only 12 times. From here, the history of the company Domenico Clerico is reborn, from his most difficult project.

Plot: Briccotto

Area: Monforte d’Alba

MGA: Bussia

First vintage produced: 1978

documento origini Briccotto

Where it all began in 1978, a few rows in the most suitable part of the MGA, the Bussia Soprana. Today, from the same 9 rows, we obtain about 1,000 bottles, but only in the years in which the climate helps us.

With each of these few bottles, we carry on the history of our company, paying tribute to the plot where it all began, to those "few bottles" of 1978.
